Garnet Staffing Solutions are currently looking for experienced Support Workers in the Peterborough area. We are offering flexible working ours.

Our ideal support worker will:

- Be friendly, reliable and caring to help care recipients achieve their everyday goals (including personal care)
- Be able to support activities and hobbies of care recipients
- Be attentive, motivational and able to inspire
- Be resilient and help manage some behaviours that challenge

We are passionate about providing excellent support to care recipients and committed to equipping our staff with essential knowledge and training to provide quality care.

Main duties and responsibilities as a support worker
- Promote Service user independence as far as possible in all areas of their life.
- To plan and deliver person centred and individualised care to the maintain of the Service User’s individuality, dignity and freedom of choice.
- To provide flexible and supportive services to maximise service user’s independence.
- Promoting equality at work in regards to disability, age, religion, race, and cultural belief, gender and sexuality.
- Light domestic tasks such as tidying rooms, laundry and bed changing
- Personal care/ washing, dressing and toileting.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £10.00-£16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Peterborough, Cambridgeshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
