Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be appointed as the recruitment partner for a highly successful business in Sheffield in sourcing an experienced Finance Manager to join the organisation and their Senior Management Team.
This is an exciting new opportunity, as it is an all-encompassing Finance position that can add genuine value within a successful SME as part of their SMT.
It will include managing a small team alongside sole responsibility to produce the management accounts and month end duties.
The business pride themselves on their close working relationships, both internally and externally, and its outstanding reputation within the industry.
This opportunity would suit an experienced and proven Finance Manager / Management Accountant who is comfortable reporting into Company Directors and happy to take ownership of the accounts process.
The role:

- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of month end reports
- Month end reconciliation
- Cash flow forecasting
- Preparation of budgets
- P&L forecasting
- Internal/external stakeholder management
- Assist with improving efficiency in current processes
- Providing support into the planning of projects
- Quarterly VAT return
The Individual:

- A proactive individual with a drive for improvement of systems and processes
- Strong communication skills, which will include working closely with Company Directors and other key decision makers
- Resilient, being able to present new ideas regarding ways to support driving the company forward
- A proven background in Finance / Management accounts
- Proficient use of Excel, which will include VLookups and Pivot Tables
