Henbrandt is an established importer and supplier to the wholesale and retail trade, and we offer an ever-growing range of pocket money toys, novelties, party decorations, and fancy-dress outfits and accessories. As well as our commitment to developing our product ranges, we are always looking for new ways to innovate within our field.We operate across offices in Ipswich and Cardiff in the UK, and the new team member will work with both locations to expand and develop the visual branding across our existing product themes and ranges. Given the vital significance of a strong visual brand and striking product imagery to the online marketplace in which so much contemporary retail occurs, the new team member will form an integral part of the next stage of Henbrandt’s evolution as we strive for excellence and to stand out in the digital marketplace.

The role requires a strong creative instinct, because as well as developing, maintaining (and in some cases redesigning) our existing product ranges, the new team member will be granted creative freedom to imagine entirely new themes and product ranges. The team member will then see through the entire design process, bringing new products to life from visualisation to production. The role therefore offers the chance for an individual to take creative ownership over yet-to-be-imagined product ranges within an established retail organisation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design on-brand creative solutions for product ranges.
- Expand and develop visual branding across existing product themes and ranges.
- Find innovative ways to define a design brief within time and cost constraints.
- Collaborate with the wider team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
- Communicate design concepts and ideas effectively to the team and stakeholders.
- Inspire, inform, and captivate consumers through original design ideas.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the design process, tools, and techniques to ensure that it is efficient, effective, and innovative.
- Adhere to design standards, brand guidelines, and quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and design excellence.

**Requirements**:

- Understand how design adds to the user experience and commercial value.
- Be a problem solver and make an impact on the company's success.
- Proven ability to effectively interpret briefs and design within brand guidelines
- Strong layout, typography, and photo-editing skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
- A strong creative instinct and a passion for design.
- A degree in graphic design or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and previous work.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Minimum of _**3 years**_ _experience in commercial (in-house, agency or freelance) graphic design. You will be required to demonstrate your work and skills through your _**portfolio**_

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year
