**Admin Support Officer - Children’s Centres (Royal Borough of Greenwich)**

**£21,681pa rising to £26,696pa Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm 35 hrs per week.**

Better Children’s Centres are looking for an experienced receptionist administrator to ensure the smooth running of the administration and frontline reception functions are carried out at Waterways Children's Centre, Thamesmead SE28. You’ll have responsibility to manage a busy reception on a daily basis ensuring our offer is of a high standard, admin deadlines are met and the families and other visitors receive a consistently high standard service.

Understanding your role within the team is essential allowing you to be efficient, welcoming, creative and adaptable and all carried out with helpfulness and a smile. As an administrator you will need to be comfortable working on a number of tasks at any one time as a typical day could see you juggling several priorities at once. You must be adept in using recording systems and have excellent IT skills. Essential to this role is that you’ll need to have lots of initiative; be able to think on your feet and be efficient so that none of your valuable time is wasted. Our teams are small, there’s a lot to do - so no time to waste. You’ll be part of a like-minded team who are all in it together so the time flies by. This is a busy role but very rewarding. Your excellent organisation, customer care skills, first class communication and the determination will see the job gets done. Oh and a great sense of humour will help as you will be part of a great team
