**Be amazing, be inspired, be you.**
Our young people deserve the best possible future and we feel the same about our staff. You deserve to have the career you want, in an environment that allows you to be yourself. As a member of our team, you’ll receive a sector-leading salary, extensive benefits, training, and a clear career pathway ahead of you.
If you want to join the UK’s leading provider of specialist education and care, working passionately to bring the best possible outcomes for young people, you’re in the right place.
**An inspirational environment, where you can be yourself**
Hall Cliffe Primary School is dedicated to providing each child with a nurturing, empathetic and inspirational environment. An integrated therapeutic approach, as well as a strong commitment to working with the whole family, provides the foundations for children to be ready to academically, emotionally and socially thrive as happy, resilient, independent learners, who are prepared for their next stages of life. From their engaging approach to education to their commitment to broadening the horizons of every child, the staff team work as one to achieve for every pupil.
**Be the inspiration that changes the direction of a life**
Our education and teaching teams work to get the best outcomes for every child. For every pupil at one of our schools, the sky is literally the limit. Our highly dedicated, skilled and experienced team of teaching and education professionals work with parents and carers to deliver outstanding outcomes and inspire the future that every child and family deserves. If this sounds like you, we’d love for you to join our team.
**As an Assistant Cook at **Hall Cliffe Primary School**, you’ll be in the kitchen and front of house, preparing and serving a range of tasty, nutritious food.**
You’ll be working at the heart of our school, serving staff, our young people and visitors. We’ll expect you to follow food hygiene rules and keep health and safety in mind. But the key is to create varied menus that encourage our young people to try new food. You’ll help plan meals, taking into account any specific dietary requirements.
We’re ideally looking for you to have catering experience gained in a professional setting, but if you are a highly competent home cook who copes well with feeding the masses, we’d still like to hear from you. A Basic Food Hygiene & Safety Certificate would be beneficial as would GCSEs or an equivalent qualification in Catering, for example, an NVQ Level 2. However, to be part of our team, the key ingredient is having the right attitude. If you’re hard working, friendly and dependable, you could be the perfect fit.
Hall Cliffe Primary School opened in March 2016 and is a very special school, part of Witherslack Group’s national portfolio of educational establishments. Independent, co-educational and truly inclusive, the school will serve the needs of just 34 young people - enabling you to make a lasting difference.
For children with complex, challenging needs, the level of care and education must go above and beyond. That’s what drives us, here at Witherslack Group. Through our aspirational homes, schools and ethos, we’ve achieved the highest possible outcomes. In short, we’re enhancing life opportunities.
**Reward**
We know you’re going to do great things. We offer a salary and benefits package that’s among the best in our sector. You’ll receive a competitive salary, full school holidays, contributory pension (matched up to 5%), Life Insurance based on two times your annual base salary and comprehensive induction and ongoing training, as well as extensive Group staff benefits such as Medicash Health Plan/Employee Assistance and Cycle to Work Scheme. Witherslack conducts DBS Enhanced checks and covers the costs for all new employees.
