St Giles Nursery based on St Giles, Lincoln are looking to recruit someone to complete their Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Qualification.

**PURPOSE OF ROLE**:

- To assist the phase leader in the day to day organisation and hygiene of the childcare and education provision.
- To engage in training and study that benefits positive interactions with young children.
- To train to maintain accurate, up to date records that fulfil Ofsted and all legal requirements as laid out in the Ofsted Registration Standards and all other administrative duties.
- To train to contribute towards the planning and preparation of high quality care and education for all children who attend.
- To learn to work with parents and outside agencies to provide a caring environment for the children.
- To understand and implement Statutory and Non Statutory Early Years Guidance.
- To work closely with parents/carers, staff, partners and volunteers to provide a caring environment for the children.
- Carrying out all responsibilities and activities within an Equal Opportunities framework
- Working within agreed policies and procedures.
- Safeguarding - keeping abreast of current legislation and best practice.

**Important information**:
**You will be on the National Apprenticeship Minimum Wage of £6.40 per hour regardless of your age. After your first 12 months, this will be increased to the National Minimum Wage for your age bracket.**
