Product Manager/director

PIB Group has a new and exciting opportunity for a Product Director to join our rapidly growing and ambitious organisation.
The Product Director will have responsibility for products distributed within the division and the creation, implementation and management of same. With relevant internal stakeholders, to identify product opportunity around sectors, classes of business, andcustomer needs and to fulfil by way of product development in line with the wider divisional Broking and Placement Strategy. To support panel product management and any new tenders/re-tenders.
**Responsibilities:**:

- Managing existing panel products meeting regularly with insurer partners
- Supporting development and implementation of new/updated products
- Monitoring product performance and responding appropriately
- To maintain an appropriate level of market knowledge
- To act as a conduit between the various trading divisions within the group to ensure a cohesive approach
- To collaborate with internal stakeholders in regard to Product Governance and associated FCA regulatory requirements around product
- To work with Technical Director in relation to product and also the production of relevant in-house product collateral
- Assist in production of regular technical bulletins
- To ensure data is recorded effectively so as to maintain and provide accurate Management Information
- To attend Company and/or Branch meetings and events as required, including prescribed training. Also, to achieve the minimum requirements for CPD through training provided in-house or by identifying development areas during your Performance & DevelopmentReview meetings
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management on an ad-hoc basis

**Experience**:

- Significant experience and understanding of insurance, insurance products, and insurer markets
- Cert CII qualification is desirable
- Excellent communication multi-level communication skills, strategically minded, and driven by results
- Customer focused and commercially aware, able to make insightful decisions and influence internal and external senior stakeholders
- Ability to recognise the need for and initiate change, and drive business readiness plans
