**The Role**
To help with our further expansion plans, we are recruiting a **Land Remediation Supervisor**. This is a mobile role representing the company, leading small teams onsite throughout the UK. The role involves carrying out the control and removal of differing forms of ground contamination, including the removal of Japanese knotweed and other invasive weeds, waste management and disposal.
**Skills and Experience Required**
Experience knowledge of land contaminants, including asbestos, oils and tars to name a few.
Experienced in the many differing methods of removing or containing differing contaminants.
Knowledge on Invasive Weeds would also be ideal, although training can be provided.
Strong understanding of H&S on site and how it affects yourself, other employees, and members of the public.
Ability to impart knowledge to others and experienced at supervising small teams in a construction environment.
CPCS Blue Qualifications in excavator above & below 10T.
Ideally also CPCS qualified in forward tipping dumpers.
Accredited Asbestos Operative or Asbestos in Soils trained.
SSSTS - Supervisor Safety Training Scheme certificate.
CSCS card.
Driving licence.
Confident in using app-based IT and general MS Office IT capability.
Ideally hold NPTC PA1 & PA6 spraying certificates.
**General Information**
Based from your home address, this is a mobile role, provided with a van, fuel card, parking apps and all relevant tools and a mobile phone.
You will travel each day to site. Travel will be required to many parts of the UK during the course of your work meaning stay aways overnight. All accommodation is sourced and paid for by the company.
On-site the work consists of management through mechanical excavation of vary types of contaminated ground, including hazardous contaminates such as Asbestos.
Responsible on-site for the mechanical excavation of contaminated ground including asbestos.
Lead by example in all areas of H&S and Environmental matters.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, with day-today support from an admin team.
The site contact for plant, waste certification, decontamination procedures and the supervision of the operations team.
The office team will co-ordinate and collate site contract information.
You will be required to follow the scope of works and work programme, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Internet access at home will be required for you to communicate as required.
Training as and where necessary on in-house systems will be arranged.
**Salary and Benefits**
Salary band £35,580 - £39,950, dependant on experience in Land Remediation methodologies.
