We have a new vacancy for a Plant Shipping Coordinator to join our team at our plant in Melbur.

Responsible for the day to day shipping function of Melbur Concrete plant cluster to include Melbur and Bodmin and at times other local plants. Taking customer orders both face to face, over the phone and via the internal system, shipping and allocating orders as well as batching concrete to the correct specification and assisting the Plant Supervisor to Ensure Health and Safety legislation, Environmental and Quality requirements are complied with.

**What will you bring?**
- Local geographical knowledge of the Cornwall area essential.
- Can work alone or part of a team.
- Flexible approach to hours as this role will require some weekend and potentially night working..
- Knowledge of shipping and distribution from a previous role highly desirable.
- IT Literate with Ms office/Google and also general IT systems.
- Knowledge of concrete or construction industry desired but not essential
- Previous experience of taking orders and shipping highly desirable.
- Customer service background highly desirable
- Excellent Communication skills required
