Creative Pa Needed for 8 Y/o Boy with Complex Needs

IBK are currently working with a family who require an open minded and proactive PA to work with their 8 year old son. This young person has a learning difficulty and complex health needs, the primary aim of the role is to provide supervision and stimulation for him in the family home whilst him mum is busy may be busy with his siblings or cooking/cleaning. This young person is tube fed and requires personal care support, training will be given by the family. He enjoys having time sitting up in his wheelchair or on the floor with support, playing with colourful toys or his sensory blanket.
The ideal PA will need to be confident in working with a complex young person, be creative in the activities they could engage the young person in and be comfortable just spending time with the young person when they need some quiet time. It would also be especially useful for the PA to speak Urdu or Punjabi as there are some language barriers.

Urdu or Punjabi speaking
Hours: 10 hours per week. Ideally this would be used as 2 hours per day Monday to Friday between the hours of 5pm-and 8pm (5pm-7pm or 6pm-8pm) but the family would consider applicants who wanted to work 10 hours per week over less days.

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
