**The Purpose**:

**The Person**:
This exciting and challenging role includes developing and delivering the flagship music events ‘Trentham Live’ and ‘Trentham Summer Concerts’ alongside the curation and coordination of annual events such as Christmas at Trentham, the Great British Food Festival, Gandeys Circus and the Makers Markets. The remit of the role includes growing the wedding business and driving Retail and Garden footfall with engaging events and activities.
Supported by a team of in-house and external Event professionals, the Head of Events will work collaboratively as a team with in-house marketing, operations, and visitor experience teams to achieve ambitious business targets.
**Required Experience**:

**Key Accountabilities**:
- As the Head of Events, you will undertake researching, planning, and managing our events’ calendar. negotiating quotes and agreements with suppliers, liaising with event marketing, monitoring timeframes and budgets, networking, and delivering on event brief objectives.
- Your creativity, organisational skills, and vision will assist our organisation in amplifying brand visibility, enhancing visitor and employee relations, and improve our organisation’s growth through events that effectively communicate business strategy and brand personality.
- Demonstrate exceptional organisational abilities, superb interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills, and excellent time-management.
- The Head of Events is responsible for arranging the entire programme of events within Trentham Gardens and Shopping Village, working closely with the wider management and commercial team.
- Responsibilities include development, production, and management of all aspects of events arranged both by Trentham and by external clients, delivering events on time, on budget, and that exceed expectations.
- As Head of Events, you will communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the other teams responsible for the Trentham Estate’s visitor experience, marketing, promotion, and operations.
- Trentham also boasts an interactive calendar of activities and visitor attractions, delivered by the operations team, where you will act as product owner to optimise potential
- You will also ensure that all documents and procedures are in place in advance of every event (including for example: drafting contracts, writing risk assessments and management plans, invoicing, ordering and budget management).
- You are responsible for the communication of the event to staff and associates as well as to our visitors.
- Responsible for all communications based on event customer feedback.
- You will work 37.5 hours per week on a flexible basis to ensure that you are able to oversee key events at weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- To ensure effective communication that enables engagement and enablement.
- Maintain knowledge and adhere to relevant Group Policies and Procedures, Legislation and Regulations
- Develop and ensure safe working practices
