Please come and join my team I’m excited to be recruiting my own small team of skilled Support Workers to work with me, across 5 days, some occasional weekends I live with my parents, who are amazing, and I am really close with them, but I am looking forward to becoming as independent as I can be. I would love to have my parents back as Mum and Dad, instead of my full-time carers. This is new for me, and a big step but I am looking forward to it I am keen for my team to be happy, honest, proactive, kind, and patient. I will need my team to help me engage in activities at home and out and about in my community. I can’t wait to go out with you all and have some fun I hope to travel more and take fun, short breaks once I have my team in place. I have Cerebral Palsy and mild LD and I am really good at getting around my flat in my powered wheelchair. I do need help with personal care, transfers, meals - all the typical daily tasks, and I need support to access interesting and engaging activities. I like shopping, going to the cinema, and people watching. I love crafting and baking. Also, I really enjoy some quiet time and watching TV. I absolutely love films I am really good on my computer. I have my own beautiful flat and my own hydrotherapy pool. I do need help with personal care, transfers and meals - all the typical daily tasks, and I need support to access interesting and engaging activities. Rates of pay: £15.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £17.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday. I am able to offer various contracts starting from 8 hours and up to 24 hours. I am looking for people who can be flexible to work a combination of days and/or evenings Monday to Friday. There may be occasional opportunities for sleeping nights and weekend working. Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
