Senior Product Designer

Trust In SODA have partnered with a complex Cloud SaaS product, who's technology supports the health and pharma industry, providing doctors and scientists with a wealth of data. Your primary mission will be to understand core business needs, platform requirementsand transform that understanding into user-focused and intuitive interfaces and experiences.
You will be working very closely with the product management and engineering department as well as have access to the leadership team, and act as an advocate for all users of the platform. As the Senior Product _Designer_ you will visually and verbally present solutions required for the advancements of users' experience. You will work in a highly fast-paced agile environment.
Being the _Senior Product Designer_, you will identify ways for how product designs can be simplified and how he can integrate a mix of interaction and visual experience into the business's product. You will engage in customer research, information architecture,designing, prototyping and usability testing.
**Responsibilities**
As a Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) you will have the following responsibilities:

- Analysis: You will analyse complex platform and customer requirements and translate these into designs that maximizes value & scalability. You should have the ability to do extensive user research and translate this into design concepts
- Design: You will be involved in the development of engaging & usable interactions for the users. You will define the user interface design through information architecture, wireframes and user flows and validate it through usability testing
- Collaboration: You will collaborate with product management, engineering, data science, marketing, and commercial teams in the development of the product
- Product Life Cycle: You will be responsible for guiding the product through its various stages in the lifecycle through specification of the platform navigation or direction at each stage, information organization, and formulating interaction design
- Interactions: You will identify psychological factors that can be integrated in the product to enhance the product's usability, value, and benefit through customers' and stakeholders' feedback and interactions
- Testing/Product Interaction: You will review the product's specifications, recommend production alternatives, and ensures maintenance of a high-quality production standard and competitive advantages
- As a Product Designer you must be able to deliver the following across both UX and UI:
UX
- User Research, User personas, User flows, Sitemaps, Wireframes (low and high-fidelity),
- Information Architecture
- Usability Testing

UI
- Communication of design principles and direction, as well as design specifications to engineers
- Professional presentations to clients and internal teams to showcase designs
- Product features benchmark measurements to identify potential areas of improvement
- Translate visual designs from low-fidelity sketches to hi-fidelity pixel perfect mock-ups
- Rapidly evolve prototypes to validate design concepts with stakeholders and customers
- Maintain and contribute to the design system

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor level degree in Human Computer Interaction, Design, UX, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience
- Significant UX design experience with proven interaction and visual design responsibilities
- Extensive portfolio that showcases systematic and creative design thinking and a deep understanding of UI/UX best practices
- Ability to recognize use cases and user interaction and incorporate them into prototypes and designs
- Comfortable with ambiguity and passionate about understanding the purpose and crafting a suitable design solution
- Deep understanding of information design / architecture, design principles, data visualization and user psychology
- Ability to manage time across projects and competing priorities, meet agreed upon deadlines
- Proficiency in visual design and a sensitivity to typography, colour, layout
- Experience in building and maintaining a software design system
- Experience in working with product and cross-functional teams using agile/lean methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate design rationale and convince stakeholders
- Proven knowledge of using modern prototyping software such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma and Axure or similar design tools
