Working for our organisation
The Maternity and Gynaecology service at NUH is provided across three sites City Hospital, Queen’s Medical Centre and the Nottingham Treatment Centre on the QMC campus. The service provides all hospital and community based obstetrics, gynaecology and midwifery services. We have a large and expanding team of consultants including gynaecologists, obstetric consultants and combined obstetrician and gynaecologists.
Both hospital sites have a labour suite and we deliver around 8,000 babies per year. There is a Neonatal unit on both campuses, dedicated obstetric anaesthetic services, and inpatient and outpatient obstetric services. Antenatal outpatient, ultrasound and fetal medicine services are delivered on both campuses.

On-Call Commitment
There is no on call commitment
Administration
Complete outpatient clinic letters and action pathology results in a timely manner.
Communicate any concerns appropriately to the named consultant
You will be encouraged to consolidate and develop skills and knowledge and will be expected to complete mandatory and role specific training according to the Trust Policy.

**Qualifications**:
Essential criteria
- GMC Full Registration
- MRCOG part 1 (ST3-5)/MRCOG (ST6-7).
Desirable criteria
- Distinction, prizes or honours during Postgraduate training.
Experience
Essential criteria
- At least 5 years (ST6-7) or 3 years (ST3-5) experience in O&G.
- ST2 or equivalent competencies (ST3-5)/ ST5 or equivalent competencies (ST6-7) in O&G.
- Minimum 12 months experience working in Obs and Gynae in the UK.

**Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
