We are looking for practitioners who have a registered qualification in one of
- nursing, social work, occupational therapy or a psychological therapy plus further post graduate qualification training in a model of psychological therapy, such as CBT, CAT, ACT, EMDR etc.

The post is to cover East Dorset and base will be Poole Community Clinic with hybrid working from home, Poole and Bournemouth.

We are looking for ideally full time hours but part time will also be considered.

The Dorset Pain Management Service is a vibrant service, consisting of an inter-professional team. We employ modernised clinical practice to help people coping with chronic, non-malignant pain lead meaningful lives.

Our pan-Dorset service offers individual interventions and group programmes in various locations county wide; these are delivered by two teams across the county. The staff mix includes pain consultants, psychologists, specialist physiotherapists, pain and mental health nurses occupational therapists, therapy assistants, trainees from various departments and our hardworking admin support team.

To provide evidence based psychological interventions to clients of the Dorset Pain Management Service, across all sectors of care, providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy. Provide advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, nonprofessional carers, working under supervision within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.

To supervise and support the psychological assessment and therapy provided by other clinical members of teams who provide psychologically based care and treatment if required.
