To learn all aspects of the EYFS through your studying whilst completing the online documentation through the apprenticeship company.To adhere to all nursery policies & procedures and to ensure these are revisited at regular intervals.To maintain confidentiality in the Nursery at all times.To ensure that the nursery is clean and tidy throughout the periods of operation.To actively contribute to the weekly/daily plans within the room in due course when confident. To work to the agreed plans and to participate in suitable programmes of activities which cater for children’s educational, social, emotional, recreational and welfare needs and that the child’s welfare as an individual and as a member of a group is paramount at all times. To assist with the preparation of feeds for babies and young children, to supervise and talk to the children at snack and mealtimes.To attend regular staff and room meetings and positively contribute to the future development of the Nursery.

After training to become a designated Key Person, to work closely with your parents/carers regarding all aspects of their child’s development as appropriate. Keeping their ‘Journey Books’ up to date and implement their next steps and interests into the planning. (this will come in time with knowledge and training). To undertake any other similar duties of this level as required by the Room Leader or Nursery Manager.You will be expected to complete training on line which will be assessed to gain your apprenticeship qualification.

**Salary**: £4.81-£9.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Dereham, Norfolk: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
