**About the Role**

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Academic Skills Advisor to join the Student Engagement team. You will have lead responsibility for the design, delivery and evaluation of high-quality academic skills, support for students of all academic disciplines at all levels, from pre-entry to taught postgraduate, across the University to enhance student satisfaction, attainment, and retention.

Based in Edge Hill’s Catalyst building, you will join and manage a team of dedicated skills practitioners and will have opportunity to lead projects and service developments which seek to enhance the student experience.

**About You**

As Senior Academic Skills Advisor,you will have experience in delivering and evaluating high-quality online and in person academic skills support on a 1-2-1 and group basis within Higher Education. You will also have extensive experience in designing high quality print and digital learning materials.

Your understanding of inclusive approaches to learning, can-do attitude, and effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills will ensure that academic skills support is aligned to the current and future needs of our academic and student community.
