We are seeking an experienced Possession Planner to join Coombes on a full time, permanent basis.

This position will require you to communicate with Network Rail and authorise the shutdown/closure of certain tracks and locations across the south coast.

With safety at the top of our agender, this position requires organisation, an eye for detail and exceptional communication skills.

You are required to be experienced in works planning, using PPS online systems and is able to collate, distribute and brief on SWPs.

This is a hands-on role, where you’ll be required to produce accurate SWP’s in line with internal and external standards. You will utilise your excellent communication skills to advise on SSOW requirements at external client planning meetings whilst developing strong relationships along the way.

As part of the possessions department, you will be responsible for creating work packs for all ground teams to follow. This will identify key planning details including safe working times, confirmation of closures, hazardous issues, local emergency departments and further information co-ordinated by Network Rails operators.
- Sentinel SSOW Planner competency
- In-depth knowledge of Network Rail standards and procedures
- In-depth PPS, GZAC and daytime access planning knowledge
- Have experience in both DC and AC infrastructure
- Sentinel Personal Track Safety (PTS)
- In-depth knowledge of ALO

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £50,000.00 per year
