Claims Complaints Coordinator

A Worldwide Specialist ground engineering Contractor providing rapid, long-lasting solutions to problems of sinking and settling foundations (Subsidence) are now seeking an experienced Claims/Complaints Handler to join their specialist Customer Servicesteam where you will play an integral part of the business working closely with the Head of Customer Services and the Customer Services Team.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Manage a caseload of claims from initial contact
- Ensure accurate recording, tracking, monitoring of all claims are undertaken
- Investigate claims thoroughly within agreed timescales liaising with policyholders, insurers and private customers
- Proactively ensure customer claims are resolved within agreed timescales
- Analyse information gathered during an investigation and assess validity
- Work in partnership with partners, contractors and all internal stakeholders to ensure efficient handling of claims
- Monitor and report on claims data
- Be a key point of contact for customers with open claims.
- Ensuring that the customer is kept updated throughout the lifecycle of their matter.
- Impeccably managing all administrative responsibilities pertaining to the customer claim/complaint.
**About you**:
- Complaints/Claims handling experience within an Insurance claims environment
- Ideally have experience of Subsidence/Building Claims handling experience or good Subsidence/Engineering/Buildings knowledge
- Excellent communication skills experience via telephone and face to face
- Exceptional Customer service skills where providing a quality, first class customer service is key with the goal to provide a solution
- Good organisational skills and be able to work in a pressured environment
- Comfortable working remotely in a demanding role dealing with difficult situations
- Possess a 'can do' attitude.
- Willing and able to learn quickly.
- Be positive and have the ability to turn a difficult situation into a positive outcome
- Have the ability to show empathy whilst being assertive
Home-Based, Remote working up to £30k per annum plus benefits package
Hours of work - Monday - Friday shifts between 8:30am - 5.30pm.
