An Interim position of 6 months-plus is available for a suitably experienced Finance Business Partner to provide strategic commercial finance advice and deliver transformational projects at a growing business in the Bradford area. Ideally the company requiressomeone who is immediately available.

Joining at a pivotal time in the business, we’re looking for an individual who can ensure that strong financial systems and controls are in place as the business continues to grow rapidly.

This role also offers the opportunity to report on the success of new business initiatives to the board and PE sponsors.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

- Providing strategic financial planning support - coordinating budgeting process for the next year
- Reviewing pricing and discounting
- Coordinating margin improvement initiatives
- Implementing new bespoke stock control software and integrating with finance
- Ensuring Finance sign-off on all significant Capex and OPEX spend
- Investment appraisal
- Interrogation and analysis of sales & customer retention data to provide valuable business intelligence.

We’re hoping to engage with a Finance Business Partner or FP&A professional, who is comfortable supporting and influencing senior business leaders.

You’d need to be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with at least 2 years PQE.

Experience and skills required:

- Ability and wiliness to communicate effectively with people at various levels
- Strong data analysis skills to come to clear, data driven, business recommendations
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word and Google Sheets
- Self-starter able to create detailed plans to achieve goals
- Willingness to take on new and challenging tasks, using problem solving to generate solutions
- A strong desire for accuracy and attention to detail, even when under pressure
- Organisation skills including the ability to prioritise your own workload

This is an office based role that hopes to offer some flexibility in time. It also includes a staff discount scheme and 25 days holiday + statutory holidays.
