As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Health and safety Officer.

About the Role:

- Health and safety training for new and existing stores.
- Store visits to monitor compliance, audits.
- Store visits to support where needed, particularly in advance of EHO or Fire inspections.
- New store set up to include training, risk assessments and support for the project manager.
- Health and safety training in existing stores.
- Liaise with Cloud and CDS ensure adherence to scheduled inspections/examinations by external parties (sprinklers/fire alarms) and internal inspections (emergency lighting).
- Assist in developing policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
- Monitor statutory changes and changes in best practice, and in liaison with other departments implement best practice at The Range.

Knowledge and Skills:

- The ability to communicate effectively with managers and staff within stores, and Regional Controllers and Managers.
- The ability and confidence to train large groups (70+).
- To comply with all Legal & Company Health & Safety regulations.
- To set high personal standards and set an example to others.
- The ability to read and interpret statutory documents and produce relevant policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
- Have previous experience in a health and safety role.

**Position**:Permanent, Full-time

**Hours**: Monday - Friday, 08:45am - 17:30pm.
