We're looking for a Health and Safety Administrator to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team based in Plymouth.
KierBAM are a Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall. We are currently delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth and we are seeking an experienced H & S Administrator to support the H & S lead with daily administrative tasks.
Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required. Please note that this process can take up to 8 weeks.
Eligibility criteria: Candidates must hold a passport from an EU, NATO, Five Eyes, or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.
Location: Devonport Royal Dockyard, Plymouth - we may be able to offer occasional working from home, this would be locally agreed.
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Responsibilities
As a Health and Safety Administrator, you'll be working within the KierBAM JV Nuclear team, supporting them in maintaining a high standard of Health and Safety on site, ensuring the safety of our staff is paramount.
Your day to day will include:
- Provide daily administrative support to the Health & Safety team, including scheduling, document control, and ensuring procedures are followed
- Collect, manage, and analyse H&S data from site activities, inspections, and incident reports to support performance reporting and KPI tracking
- Maintain accurate records of audits, permits, training, toolbox talks, and statutory documentation such as RAMS and certifications
- Assist with incident investigations, monitor compliance with inductions and site access, and contribute to continuous improvement by identifying trends and risks
- Liaise with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication of H&S data, and support special projects or H&S Coordinator duties as needed

- Admin experience in a similar or supporting post
- Knowledge of Health and Safety
- Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experiencing working in a high pressured environment
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
