**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote learning through play.
- Manage daily activities, ensuring that children are engaged and supervised at all times.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as necessary.
- Maintain a safe and clean nursery environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Drive initiatives that encourage children's social, emotional, and physical development.
- Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided.
- Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding less experienced staff members and supporting their professional development.

**Requirements**:

- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare settings is essential.
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and parents.
- Ability to manage groups of children while maintaining a calm and positive atmosphere.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
- A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
- A genuine passion for early years education and the ability to create an inclusive environment for all children.
