We are looking for Two Catering Assistants to join our fantastic and friendly catering team at Bridport Community Hospital.

This is for 2 x part time roles of 20.5 hours per week and 16 hours per week

Vacancy 1 - 20.5 hours per weekincludes working every other weekend, with weekend work being paid atenhanced rates
- week 1; Monday 7-2.30pm, Thursday 12.30pm
- 7pm and Saturday 7am-2pm
- week 2; Sunday 7am-2pm, Monday 7am-3pm and Thursday 12midday
- 7pm.

Vacancy 2 - 16 hours per week,includes working every other weekend, with weekend work being paid atenhanced rates
- week 1; Tuesday 7am-1.30pm, Wednesday 7-12midday, Saturday 2pm-7pm
- week 2; Sunday 2pm-7pm, Tuesday 7am-1.30pm and Wednesday 12midday-7pm

There may also be the opportunity for extra shifts to cover annual leave and sickness.

Catering Assistants within the hospital have a key role in supporting a catering service to patients and make a valuable contribution in the wider care team that supports patients during their time in hospital.

You will work as part of a team to help prepare homemade sandwiches, salads, simple snacks for patients as well as providing a food support service for staff and the general public. Duties include food and meal prep', washing up and cleaning within the main kitchen and dining area and supporting the Assistant Cooks and Chefs.
