Are you an experienced **Document Controller** looking for a new opportunity?

JMC Aviation is working with a leading MRO Organisation based in **Prestwick**, looking to recruit a **Document Controller **to join their expanding team.

This is a **Permanent Position** based in **Prestwick **with an immediate start date.

**The responsibilities of the Document Controller will involve**:

- Effectively manage on-site stock, maintaining part availability whilst ensuring shelf life of components/material is not exceeded in line with customer contracts.
- Updating and maintaining the stock data within ERP system.
- Carrying out regular on-site stock checks, utilising ERP system, to ensure stock levels are accurately maintained.
- Adhering to aircraft parts Goods Receiving practices, i.e. inspection and part number verification, to ensure all parts are received in the relevant condition with the correct regulatory documentation
- Adhering to aircraft parts Goods Dispatching practices, i.e. correct regulatory documentation and packaging
- Adhering to Third Party Component Suppliers Logistic procedures, ensuring compliance with supplier’s procedures
- Ensuring compliance with Engineering Policy, Statutory Airworthiness requirements, Safety Standards, Company Standing Instructions and Health and Safety
- Assisting with any other ad-hoc tasks or projects as required by Management

**In order to be successful in this role, the Document Controller will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes**:

- Hold the right to work in the UK - proof is required as part of our shortlisting process
- Significant hands on experience of work-related production, modification and maintenance type work
- Experience in a similar role or transferable skills
- Experience in MRO IT software, such as AMOS, OASES, Rusada etc would be an advantage but not essential
- Technical experience in aviation and able to demonstrate knowledge of airworthiness regulation; and
- Have a working knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Planning
- High standard of English language (written and oral)
- High standard of computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
