Trainee Commercial Assistant

Importo Ltd (part of Browns Food Group) have an exciting opportunity for an office-based Trainee Stock Controller to join their team based in Kirkconnel. We are an import and export business who have strong partners with both UK and international agents, and the capacity as part of our group to develop further international partners as needed.

This comes with the strength and leverage of being part of Browns Food Group. This extends to our import licensing services and our ability to identify opportunities in markets worldwide and mobilize products to these markets.

**Role Purpose**:
Working closely with Importo Ltd operations team. Assisting the team drive efficiencies and system controls. Being commercially alert.

Full training will be provided.

**Key accountable areas**:

- Collating data and reporting figures daily.
- Assisting with controlled processes to ensure efficiencies and generated.
- Assisting the operations team on the movements of goods.
- Building an understanding of the financial impacts.
- Assisting with development of processes.
- Assisting with implementation of new systems
- Working closely with group departments, operations / finance / transport.

**Hours of work**

8am-5pm Monday - Friday
