**Job Summary**
We are an Italian Fine Foods importer and distributor, and are looking to recruit a conscientious and enthusiastic **Data Entry Clerk** to support both our customer service and bookkeeping teams.

Located within 2 min walk from Beddington Lane tram station, this is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and details-oriented individual aspiring to a career in the food industry or looking to move into administrative support, working as part of an international, people-oriented team.

Full software and product training will be provided, but any previous experience using the Microsoft Office package and/or Sage 50 accounting system, or work experience in a customer service oriented position is a bonus.

Most importantly, you will be a team player with the drive and enthusiasm to thrive in a busy environment.

**Duties include but are not restricted to**:

- Preparing internal picking requests and booking couriers collections
- Processing invoices on the company’s accounting system
- Meticulous filing of daily paperwork
- Supporting the sales and accounts team with ad-hoc administrative duties
- Delivering stellar phone support to both customers and our delivery teams
- Daily maintenance of accounting data files

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a data entry or administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high levels of accuracy in data entry.
- Competent clerical skills, including familiarity with office procedures and practices.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on professionalism in phone interactions.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
