Licensed by the Association of Residential Lettings Agents (ARLA) we have an exciting opportunity for a Lettings Negotiator/Property Manager to join their very busy and successful office.

This is a fantastic career opportunity for an enthusiastic individual, willing to train and develop in an exciting and varied role as part of a team in an expanding forward looking business

Main duties will be:

- Registering and qualifying prospective tenants, matching to available properties where applicable,
- Arranging and conducting viewings,
- Arranging and conducting inspections
- Giving feedback to landlords
- Explaining the referencing procedure to potential tenants,
- Agreeing tenants details with landlords and requesting references,
- Following up references,
- Signing up tenancy agreements and taking deposits/rent payments using a bank card machine
- Organising maintenance
- Using specialist software database (Alto)
- Be personable and able to communicate easily with all types of people,
- Have good listening skills and the ability to accurately extract and record relevant information and pass on messages
- IT literate enough to use word, top and tail standard letters with adequate keyboard skills especially MS Word,
- Numerate as will be dealing with rental payments and taking deposits,
- Have the ability or potential ability to be inquisitive and find the deal, have the initiative and confidence to ask for the business,

- A 'can do' attitude but knowing own limitations and able to ask for assistance when needed,
- Able to cope with 'pressure'.
- Ability to follow instructions and properly complete tasks to a dead line,
- Ability to keep filing up to date and pay attention to completion of less interesting but essential administration tasks.
- Full driving licence with own transport

Hours of work are alternate 5/6 day week with commitment to working every other Saturday. Monday to Friday hours are 9am to 6pm, Saturday working is 9am to 5pm.
