Service Delivery Agent

Thrifty Car and Van Rental are recruiting for a Service Delivery Agent in our Luton branch.

This role is to regularly ensure that all vehicles are thoroughly prepared in terms of cleanliness throughout the working day. Carrying out a thorough quality inspection process that pays due attention to any pre
- or post-rental damage in line with Thrifty Damage Management processes.

When required, deliver and collect vehicles to customers, as directed in order, in an efficient and courteous manner.

**The key responsibilities include**:

- To thoroughly clean vehicles on fleet to ensure they are valeted in line with Company expectations and customer requirements.
- To effectively identify all vehicle damage, recording on appropriate documentation/systems in line with the Thrifty Damage Management procedure.
- Debowse vehicles as instructed and in line with safety guidelines.
- Fuel cars promptly and accurately.
- To communicate (always verbal/written) accurately and appropriately.
- To comply with all Thrifty vehicle returns procedures.
- To complete paperwork as may be required.
- To undertake security checks and verify rental documentation as required.
- To drive carefully and considerately.
- Fuel cars promptly and accurately.
- To work both individually and as part of a team.
- To dress in accordance with company uniform standards, with a clean and smart presentation.
- To act as an ambassador of the company and promote company interests whilst at work.
- To assist other team members/departments as required to have vehicles available for customer use.
- Complete petrol sheets accurately and clearly.
- To work in a clean, tidy fashion throughout the day and to empty the bins and sweep through at end of evening.
- Complete full and comprehensive vehicle safety checks before delivery and at quality inspection stage.
- Any other reasonable task as directed by Branch Manager or designated deputy.

**Skills, Experience and/or Qualifications Required**
- Maintain excellent standards of personal appearance, wearing the appropriate uniform which should be clean and presentable.
- Have a flexible approach to working hours/rotas and location.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive awareness of company locations, goals, and performance results.
- Demonstrate literacy and numeracy standards to Level 3 or equivalent.
- Full Driving Licence.

**Hours of work**

**Zero-hour contract - although no hours can be guaranteed we are looking for someone who can work flexibly.**

**Job Types**: Permanent, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £9.75 per hour

- Weekend availability
