Our client is a leading designer, manufacturer and established expert in LED lighting technology, based in Newbury. Founded in 2002 they are a highly successful, independent British company with global reach throughout Europe, Middle East, Africa and Australasia. Key points - Salary up to £28k (dependent on relevant experience) + performance related bonus plus excellent benefits - Have worked in a similar role for lighting or trade industry and so is familiar with working with electrical wholesalers - Must have strong account management experience, able to deal with complex customer queries, ability to multi-task and manage many issues at the same time, great communication skills, able to use initiative and have some commercial awareness - This is a really important role as you will be dealing with all departments in the company, supporting the sales team, handling complaints. Key Areas of Activity Account Management - Develop and sustain relationships with key customers/portfolio of stockists, ensuring you have in-depth understanding of their needs and objectives and spending behaviour - Act as main point of contact between key customers and internal teams. - Proactively work with, and communicate with Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, Project, Warehouse and other teams to ensure key customers' needs are met. - Facilitate stock management of project or bespoke deliveries within agreed timescales. - Compile reports on key accounts - Negotiate and communicate with key customers to meet deadlines for the fulfilment of each customer's long and short term requirements - Manage key customers' accounts; ensure orders, stock levels and price data are accurate - Liaise with Sales/Project team/customers to review customer experience against KPIs. This may include: quality of service, delivery time, stock/aged stock levels, business growth, customer satisfaction - Ensuring all customer data, quotes and sales activities are effectively recorded and managed on SAGE and CRM system - Seek to be commercially aware at all times of the business's current trading position - Act as escalation point for technical product queries and ensure product knowledge is shared within Customer Service - Manage all credit/debit and stock cleansing workload, ensuring all procedures are followed Sales - Work closely with Sales staff to identify opportunities to grow the business and enhance profitability. - Introduce new products and solutions to key accounts, creating awareness of brand and product range - Track all relevant sales activity using CRM systems. Utilise internal reports/data to proactively bring in orders and generate revenue - Work with Sales and Project staff to put targets and Sales plan in place to generate revenue and/or enhance business growth - Produce and manage quotes to ensure they transfer into orders - Produce monthly sales activity reports - Utilise marketing tools, such as special offers promotions to increase revenue using targeted "value to customer" approach. - Identify and utilise up-sell opportunities, e.g offering alternative products where possible Person Specification Our client is looking for applicants who can demonstrate excellent: 1.Customer Service - Promote downwards a "customer first culture" in every contact with customers. - Operate a commercial balance mindset between what is right for the customer against business needs. - Resolve issues and complaints to maintain customer trust - Establish the role as technical champion point of contact. - Provide support to Customer Services colleagues when needed 2. Communication - Establish and maintain effective communication channels with agents, colleagues, customers, prospective clients, senior management - Ensure all forms of communication are timely, clear, concise and understood by recipients 3. Administration - Ensure knowledge and effective use of all internal IT and CRM systems - Create reports/presentations and spreadsheets to analyse customer information and provide recommendations. - Keep up to date knowledge of Kosnic products, and have general awareness of competitor and market trends.
