IT Junior Engineer Apprentice

**Overview:**

Box Broadband is recruiting a junior IT/Telecommunication Operations Engineer to join our exciting and rewarding company based in Cranleigh in The Surrey Hills.

**Key responsibilities include:**
- Working as part of the Engineering and Operations team you will be providing support for the process of getting our Broadband, Voice and TV customers live on our network
- Installation of domestic routers, VOIP Systems, Wi-Fi solutions.
- Provide First Class Technical Support both remotely, on the Helpdesk and in person on the Clients Site with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
- Troubleshooting customer problems including Wi-Fi coverage and network speed complaints
- Working with Senior Engineers to provide a technical solution.

**What we are looking for / Skills and Personal qualities:**
- Have a passion for technology
- Understanding of network technology and principles
- Demonstrable knowledge of IT fundamentals
- Work together as part of a team as well as independently at times
- Ability to handle oneself in occasional high-pressure scenarios whilst remaining professional to the client

**Also:**
- Having a full clean driver’s license and owns a car would be highly beneficial as travelling is a key aspect of the role

**Entry requirements:**

You need to have 5 GCSE’s:

- Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades D or above
