The Procurement and Supplies department is part of the AGH Solutions LTD team at Airedale General Hospital. If you are looking for a new challenge then you may want to consider joining our busy Operational Service Team. You will need to have good interpersonal skills and proven customer service/office admin/clerical experience. You will be responsible for ordering goods for all areas within the Trust, in particular for clinical areas, which would involve visiting the areas and checking, replenishing and putting away stock as required. You will need a good working knowledge and experience of software systems in particular Microsoft Office, stock control systems, along with experience of ordering systems and data input. You must be willing to work in a fast paced busy work environment.
To work with the Team Leader (Operational Services) to provide a high quality professional Supplies stock and materials management top-up service to Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and Bradford District Foundation Care Trust.
To assist the Team Leader (Operational Services) with the day to day running of the Operational Services section in the absence of the Asst. Operational Services Officer.

Ensure that stock levels are maintained for consumables on clinical areas specifically by:
- undertaking materials management top-up in line with levels set and within agreed timescales.
- communicating with clinical teams as required to resolve any queries regarding replenishing and reordering of required stock
- undertaking quarterly reviews with clinical teams, agreeing and maintaining adequate stock levels.
To ensure that orders for goods and services are placed and expedited in a timely manner in accordance with procedures.
Assist the Team Leader (Op. Serv.) in ensuring that all Central Alerting System (CAS), Medicines Healthcare Regulations Authority (MHRA) or Supplier alerts are actioned and report any adverse incidents to the MHRA in line with procedures.
Assist the Team Leader (Op. Serv.) to develop, implement and improve working methodologies and procedures in order to maintain service delivery.
Assist the Team leader (Operational Services) in creating a culture which will ensure the delivery of a professional Supplies service which will be fit for purpose.
Support work towards identification of savings opportunities monitoring and reporting progress as required.
