Chiropractic Assistant

We are excited to be looking for our next Chiropractic Assistant to work in our practice An enthusiastic person to join our busy practice, serving the local community and helping people get better and healthier You would be part of the most advanced structural rehab practice in the UK, so lots of room for learning and growth

**This role would suit someone with a sports rehabilitation/sports background **_**knowledge of human anatomy is essential for this role.**_

**Role includes**:

- Take care of chiropractic consultations. Taking medical history, performing functional tests and taking digital postural pictures. Assist the chiropractor during examinations if/when needed.
- Provide patients with information about Chiropractic Care and how to get the best out of their care.
- To understand and promote a healthy and wellness-based lifestyle.
- To work in our unique spinal rehabilitation suite. Educating patients on various rehabilitation exercises.
- To be able to provide simple and essential self-help advice to patients.
- Supporting chiropractors in the rooms where required.
- Assist patients with any queries.
- Booking and amending appointments and taking payments.

- Welcome patients to the practice.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Ensure the general cleanliness, hygiene and maintenance of the practice.
- Ensure our patients have a smooth and enjoyable experience during their time at the practice.
- Have the ability to communicate to a high level, be a team player, and develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
- Take responsibility for ensuring the accurate running of everyday tasks within the practice.
- There is a sales aspect to the role so numerical skills are essential.

**Additional information**
- To be able to read, speak and write fluently in English.
- The role is carried out Monday - Friday and one Saturday a month 8-1 pm.
- Expected hours 30-35 per week
- Flexibility is required to assist with covering of colleague's holiday which provides an opportunity to increase earnings.
- Participate in regular training.
- To attend educational conferences and workshops when required to do so.

Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour
