ABOUT THE BUSINESS
Insurtech Insights is a global insurance media company that connects executives, entrepreneurs and investors looking to build the future of insurance. We've launched and scaled large-scale conferences across the world and are currently expanding into digital media as part of our long-term strategy to leverage our network and offer new services for the industry.
Insurtech Insights is part of United Media which focuses on building large scale industry media and conferences products in sectors such as insurance, HR, private equity, retail, etc. As of today, we have organically launched 8 media companies and acquired one.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As a **Sales intern** you'll have the unique opportunity to be part of building and scaling a company. By becoming an early member of our new sales team, we want to constantly push you out of your comfort zone. You'll be working out of our HQ in London and to ensure a never ending growth curve, we provide you with:
- An opportunity for getting operational experience in a start-up where both your work and the results are highly tangible and matters to the business
- A chance to work closely together with the CEO on our sales execution

KEY ACTIVITIES
Day to day duties include but are not limited to:
- Acting as a 'front-line' of communication for potential conference delegates interacting with the insurers, Insurtech businesses and investors alike
- Aim to deliver excellent customer service at all times by carefully listening to all customers requirements, maintaining accurate records of all communications and ensuring all necessary follow-up action is taken
- Liaising with other areas of the company to help develop new business opportunities
- Drive income streams from the sale of delegate conferences tickets to new and previous customers
- Deliver exceptional performance results at all times by aiming to exceed your key performance indicators (KPI's) at every opportunity

- UK work permit.
- Personable and quick at building new relationships.
- Works extremely well under pressure, and responds well to deadlines.
- Team player but also able to work to own targets. Volunteers and positively contributes to enhancing business performance.
- Courteous, helpful, loyal and professional; proactive in finding solutions; goes the extra mile, energetic and enthusiastic.
- Excellent and persuasive communicator. Can communicate on all levels and varies approach accordingly. An exceptional listener with a keen eye for detail.
