ABOUT THE HOME
Tall Trees is built from warm-coloured Cotswold stone and centred around a large courtyard overlooking a cricket ground and wildflower meadows in Chipping Norton. Each bedroom is beautifully furnished and has ensuite facilities, and there’s everything froma hair salon to a library and a range of beautifully furnished lounges. Offering residential, nursing and dementia care, our residents enjoy regular trips around the local area. We’re lucky to have plenty to explore on our doorstep, from the glories of BlenheimPalace to the village pubs, garden centres and Cotswold towns nearby.
We offer fantastic training and development opportunities, each of our care workers work towards their Care Certificate, giving them the confidence to deliver first-class care.
We also undertake a wide range of diverse training, from manual handling to infection control and safeguarding. We have an extensive training team, consisting of regional trainers as well as a network of in-home trainers, able to deliver programmes to colleagues.
In 2015 we launched our own dementia training programme, called ‘My World’. This is accredited by City and Guilds and was awarded the Princess Royal Training Award, every employee is given the opportunity to learn and develop.

As a Health Care Support Worker at Caring Homes, you’ll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve.Responsible for supporting our elderly residents with daily living, providing support, providing a rangeof clinical skills including blood pressure, weighing and urine and swab samples and supporting the Nurse with blood samples. This role is 48 hours per week and is on a rotational basis you must be available to work days, nights and weekends.
THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Experience in Food and Fluid charts
Experience in taking urine samples and swabs
Taking patients’ blood pressure
Taking patients temperate and recording it
Experience in weighing patients
Experience in taking blood tests desirable but not essential
