This position will report into the People and Culture Director and will involve day to day management of the people operations. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Support the implementation of new policies and any policy/ procedure changes, update the company handbook
- Provide support to People Managers with general HR queries
- Assist with recruitment and on-boarding
- Support with grievance, disciplinary and employee relations cases
- Promote employee engagement initiatives
- Manage and update the HR systems, produce reports when required
- Ensure monthly payroll checks are completed and all data is correct
- Approval of holiday requests
- Ad hoc project work
**Key Skills**:
- Experience of working within a HR team, 2 years minimum is essential
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) is desirable
- Ability to work within a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A team player but also able to work under your own initiative
