We are now looking for a **Multi Modal Freight Exports Manager based at their offices near to Manchester Airport**
You and your team will get involved in multi modal exports; you will manage an exports team whilst leading from the front
**Your role will involve**
** Managing a small team of Air and Sea Export Operators.**
** Handling quotations, costing jobs**
** Inputting Air and Sea freight bookings into the Cargowise system**
** Negotiating rates and booking with Airlines and Sea Freight companies**
** Handling export entries (ICE/Impatex)**
** Arranging collections & deliveries**
** Handling escalated customer enquiries and problems solving**
** Setting KPI's with your team**
** Handling Profit and loss and monthly financial reports**
** Visiting customers and attending customer meetings**
**Skills and experience required**:
** The Export Freight Operations Manager role is directly involved with handling air and sea exports worldwide from the Manchester office**
** The principle function of the Export Freight Operations Manager is to arrange and manage the export transportation cycle by air and ocean and to ensure all necessary paperwork is complete and legally acceptable to Customs to allow export clearanceand entry into the country of destination.**
** We require an individual who is a competent Export Specialist - knowledge can be in Air, Ocean or both. You will be looking for the next step into management or already be a team leader or freight Manager to apply**
**Benefits**
** Salary up to £45,000 per annum per annum based on experience**
** Hours - Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm with a 60 minute break (37.5 hr working week) -**
** This is a full time, permanent position.**
