We are seeking Faculty IT Officers to provide a high quality IT support service within the chosen area. You will provide reactive and proactive IT support offering effective and timely advice and solutions to IT related matters. You will install, maintain and develop hardware and software solutions appropriate to the business needs of the relevant departments within your portfolio.
You will be managed by the Faculty IT Team leader and responsible for the line management and development of the IT Support Officer and apprentices.
You will promote and adhere to the University IT working practices regarding Information Security and Governance, and be responsible for the maintenance of essential records such as asset registers across your portfolio of departments. You will ensure that the team works to high standards in supporting staff and students with a strong emphasis on excellent customer service
