A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our well established, family run business as a skilled labourer/ Home and Garden Improvement Operative. This is a dynamic and varied role which allows you to develop and expand your creative and innovative skills.
The outdoor work we cover, although not exhaustive is paving, patios, masonry/brickwork, driveways, decking, pergolas, garden rooms, fencing, turfing and alike. The indoor work we cover, although not exhaustive is first and second fix joinery, stud wall works, media walls, panelling and flooring. Additional training will be provided where required. For the right person, career progression opportunities are available also.
**Job Summary**
This is a physically demanding role and you should be suitably fit to be able to cope with the demands of the job. You must have the ability to work as team and autonomously when required. You must have a can-do attitude and be able to take instruction whilst continuously delivering on high quality standards of work to ensure deadlines are met and customer satisfaction is prioritised at all times.
**Responsibilities**
- Execute assigned tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure personal and team safety.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Dig trenches, install pipe work and drainage channels and systems.
- operate machinery such as excavators, rollers and dumpers.
- Operate power tools safely and competently

- Indoor works as described above,
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a labour-intensive role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 25 kg).
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work positively within a team.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques.
- Valid driver's licence is essential
- Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Pay: £12.21-£20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
