**As a result of continued growth and considerable ongoing investment, one of the UK’s top Construction MGAs seeks a talented Commercial Underwriter to service its renewal book.**
This well-established and financially-strong Managing General Agent is growing, year on year, and is renowned for its exclusive covers, efficient service and the technical expertise of its staff.
Boasting a panel of 10 A rated UK insurers puts this company in a very strong position, which is why it is trusted by so many insurance intermediaries. Moreover, being part of a large group, it benefits from one of the best distribution channels in the UK insurancemarket; evidenced by the fact that the business grew by circa 40% last year.
You will play a proactive role in securing renewal business, which will predominantly include Commercial Combined, Property Owners, and General Liability cases in the SME arena. Using your technical commercial underwriting expertise to negotiate satisfactoryterms with your brokers, you will maintain strong working relationships with your panel, engaging in early renewal discussions and pre-empting any challenges along the way. You’ll also be actively encouraged to entertain your brokers; taking them out and spendingtime with them in order to strengthen working partnerships.
