We're one of the UK leading providers of essential business technology, an award-winning company that is embarking on a digital transformation - and we are looking for talented and experienced senior developer to join our Development Team working on theplatform that is at the heart of the business.

You need to be this kind of person
- Well organised and able to work unsupervised and under own initiative
- Exceptional technical skills, with the ability to think laterally when diagnosing complex concepts.
- Lead by example: enjoy working within an agile team delivering quality at every phase of the SLDC.

Essential Skills
- PHP (incl. OOP and MVC)
- HTML5
- CSS
- Experience of using Git or an equivalent revision control system
- Javascript, JQuery, Vue.js
- Advanced SQL skills (preferably MariaDB/MySQL)
- MariaDB server management and optimisation
- A strong understanding of the Laravel PHP framework
- Continuous integration and delivery: preferably bitbucket

Responsibilities will include
- Take ownership position on projects.

Additional skills that would be advantageous for the role
- Understand azure cloud technologies, and how these can be used to our advantage:

- Web-apps
- Application insights
- Azure monitor
