**Classroom Supervisor - North Shields**

Milk Education are recruiting for a Classroom Supervisor for a Secondary School in North Shields to work on an on-going basis

This school is a school that is rich in diversity and culture, and an inclusive place to learn and achieve.

Schools use a Classroom Supervisor to support non-contact time for teachers - you will be given the opportunity to gain teaching experience without being a qualified teacher, in a school which offers a welcoming and supportive teaching and learning environment.

**Classroom Supervisor role & responsibilities**:

- Deliver pre-set lessons and materials in the absence of the main class teacher.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for pupils.
- Follow and implement the school’s Safeguarding and Behaviour policies.
- Liaise with the school’s Cover Manager to provide feedback on classes.
- No planning or marking required.

**Classroom Supervisor Non-negotiables**:

- Recent and relevant experience working with children and young people (preferably in an educational setting).
- Graduate-level qualification.
- Passion for education.
- Hard-working and reliable.
