GP RECEPTIONIST VACANCY:
London SW9

Full Time: 35hrs PW

Shifts: Monday to Friday between 07.45am and 20.30pm (7.5hrs per day over 5 days)

£11.05ph + NHS Pension

**ESSENTIAL: must be fully vaccinated**
- A busy GP Practice in Stockwell looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our friendly team as a receptionists. We are a committed and hard-working team who go the extra mile to support our patients and deliver the best possible quality of care. Our reception team are the first point of contact for our patients and are essential to the smooth running of our practice.
- The role includes providing a face-to-face and telephone reception service for our patients, arranging appointments, dealing with general enquiries and a wide variety of related administration duties.
- Ability to speak Portuguese or Spanish is desirable, but excellent written and spoken English is essential.
- In addition to booking appointments at the practice, our reception team will signpost patients to other services, such as community pharmacy, physiotherapy and extended access services and will need to help patients access the right service and the right time.
- Previous experience of GP reception work and EMIS computer system is desirable, but not essential as full training can be provided for the right person.
- Starting salary of £11.05 per hour (London Living Wage)

**Important to know**:
A key part of our role in general practice is to encourage patients to have their recommended NHS vaccinations. It is important that our reception team explain the benefits of vaccination to patients and their families and support them in booking. This includes the childhood immunisation programme and flu and **covid 19 vaccinations.** GP practices must ensure that staff receive the immunisations that are appropriate for their role, including reception staff.
