**Advanced Clinical / Nurse Practitioner - Worcestershire OOH**

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious and committed **Advanced Clinical / Nurse Practitioner** who can independently prescribe. It’s a chance to simplify and speed up the way patients receive care - by assessing them, planning their care,administering treatment and discharging or referring them to other healthcare professionals or external agencies,**via primary care centres and home visits**. You will also be using our **electronic prescribing system**.
Based in our various Worcestershire Out Of Hours (OOH) services, you’ll be working autonomously within your sphere of competency as **part of a friendly and close-knit multi-skilled team** that includes GPs, registered nurses, UCPs, mental health and dental nurses, prescribing pharmacists and pharmacy advisors.

We can offer this role as either **permanent, bank or self-employed**.
**What you will need**:

- Recent **experience as an autonomous advanced clinical / nurse practitioner** in a **primary/urgent care** environment, with a proven ability to see, treat and discharge patients of all ages with unscheduled presentations.
- A **patient assessment qualification**, **independent prescribing qualification** and **NMC PIN**.
- Excellent **listening and communication** skills, with good IT and keyboard skills.

**What we offer**
Shifts can be offered on a contracted basis or a bank basis. You received a quarterly holiday entitlement on all bank shifts. Shifts start at just 4 hours in length, so it is feasible to do a little extra alongside your day job or much more if you wish. Weoffer a supportive and clear induction process.
We can discuss our variation of hourly rates for Salaried, Self Employed and Bank over a telephone call:

**To be considered for this role, you would need to**:

- Be an autonomous **NMC** / **HCPC**Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic Practitioner with a patient assessment qualification
- Experience within a **Primary/Urgent Care environment**:

- Hold an independent prescribing qualification **(V300)** and patient assessment qualification
- Hold an **NMC Pin**:

- Hold a **MSc** in A**dvanced Clinical Practice** or working towards or having proven credentialing via the **RCN**.
- Be able to**see, treat and discharge patients** of all **ages**with unscheduled presentations
