**About us**

Wellman Taverns, a dynamic and thriving pub group, is seeking an experienced and charismatic Supervisor to support the General Manager at The Cheshire Cheese. Nestled just off the Strand near Fleet Street, this historic six-story grade II listed building features three unique levels: a cosy cellar bar, a lively main pub, and an elegant dining room. If you have the character and determination to manage this traditional pub, we want to hear from you
- The Cheshire Cheese will open under a new company in the second week of October, bringing fresh energy and innovation to upholding the true values of a London city pub._

**About the role**

As a Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the management team with the day-to-day running of the business. Your primary goal will be to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service, while also fostering a positive work environment for our dedicated team.

**About the pub**
- Spliced between The Royal Courts of Justice
- Stone’s throw away from Somerset House
- Tied to Shepherd Neame Brewery, serve Shepherd Neame products
- Ground level main pub
- Cellar bar
- Upstairs dining room

**About you as a Supervisor**
- Experienced supervisor in pubs (London preferred but not essential)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Has some brewery background and cellar knowledge - interest in cask ales
- Customer service is the utmost important driving force, can help lead the team from the front
- Can uphold the values of a traditional pub and present this with flawless service
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Passion for food and drink

**About the role**
- Opening and closing of the business
- Support the management team in the efficient running of the pubs, ensuring smooth operations on a daily basis
- Demonstrate a passion for food and drink, taking pride in delivering a memorable experience for our guests
- Work collaboratively as part of a team, encouraging and motivating team members to achieve excellence in customer service

Pay: £12.00-£12.50 per hour
