**Frozen Warehouse: Rotating Earlies and Lates, 4 days on, 2 days off,**

**6am to 3pm and 2pm to 11pm**

**Ambient Warehouse: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm**

**Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will responsible for leading and supervising the team in either the Frozen or the Ambient Warehouse. You will organize and manage their activities to meet customer needs and manage holidays and absences to ensure appropriate coverage. You will train and motivate your colleagues, dealing with performance and conducting issues where necessary. You will be an active part of the Warehouse team and support picking, loading, putting away and all warehousing functions when needed - so you will definitely need a valid forklift licence You will promote safe working practices, ensure good housekeeping and hygiene standards throughout and the traceability of all ingredients, work in progress and finished products. You will also be responsible for maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring compliance with Company Food Safety, GMP and Hygiene policies and procedures at all times. You will be required to shunt HGV vehicles in the yard and you will be given the required training to do so. You will deputise for the Warehouse Operations Manager when needed.**

**To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have the following skills and experience**:

- **Must hold MHE training certificates with a minimum of 2 years forklift driving experience - ideally both Reach and Counterbalance**
- **A full U.K Driving license essential which you must have held for at least 2 years**
- **Experienced people manager**
- **Clear understanding of process management and a methodical approach to problem-solving**
- **Good IT Skills and ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook & WMS system**
- **Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English and confident working with numbers**
- **Comfortable managing visits from external customers**
- **Good understanding of health and safety requirements and quality systems**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £15.68 per hour
