Key Recruitment responsibilities include (but aren’t limited to);
- Working with Senior Management team to plan strategic recruitment activity aligned to business objectives
- Creating & developing innovative and appealing recruitment strategies
- Researching and defining market competitive/attractive salaries and packages
- Agreeing and delivering recruitment campaigns appropriate to the level of the role and the business needs
- Assessment/interview processes
- Timescales
- Advertising and promoting roles/vacancies both internally and externally
- Managing the interview follow-up and feedback process
- Offer management
- Raising contracts and paperwork
- Ensuring that CVP use the best/most appropriate mix of recruitment methods and media to enhance the business’ brand profile and competitive advantage
- Ensuring that the recruitment methods used help us to attract, develop and retain the best people possible and therefore contribute to achieving our mission and goals
- Ensuring recruitment and selection practices comply with employment law and promote equal opportunities
- Manage and develop CVP’s database of job descriptions/person specifications - making sure these are in place for all positions within the Company and are held electronically.
- Identify process improvements, including new technologies, methodologies/techniques that would enhance our recruitment and colleague attraction, development, and retention activities. Where appropriate develop business justification for additional expenditure (e.g., based on ROI)

Key responsibilities of the Training aspect include (but aren’t limited to);
- Creating a training framework/pathway that will include recruitment, induction, management training, and ongoing professional development for all colleagues
- Help line management to assess training needs of existing and new colleagues and to develop a skills enhancement program designed to add value
- Creating and developing from scratch internal training programs to meet the identified needs of the business and employees
- Coordinating and delivering of internal training programs
- Maintaining training records on our HR database (People HR)
- Identifying where and when to outsource training/development needs to third parties and managing the selection and implementation of external training partners
- Ensure every colleague is involved in a complete induction to the Company
- Coaching line managers to support their own training and development
- Continuously improving training programmes as necessary.

As CVP’s Recruitment and Training Coordinator you’ll also need to have:

- Ability to work under pressure
- Preferably 1 years+ experience in a busy recruitment focused position.
- Preferably 2 years+ experience in Training / Learning and development
- Excellent communication skills
- An outgoing and confident approach
- Good computer skills with experience of excel, MsOffice and online recruitment tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Annual Leave: Commencing with 20 Days (rising to 25 with service) Holiday pro rata plus Bank Holidays
