Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, the Fabrication Assembly Operative will be assigned his/her work through the RMS Scheduling Database. Accuracy and speed of work is fundamental to the success of this role

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Manufacturing goods to drawings/specifications
- Manufacturing goods in an efficient and timely manner whilst adhering to tight deadlines.
- Manufacturing goods to a high quality standard ensuring that the finished product ranges between Good and Perfect.
- Ensuring that their assigned area is completely clean and free from clutter at all times
- Ensuring that all communal areas are completely clean and free from clutter at all times
- Abiding by, promoting and developing all Health and Safety rules across the entire site
- To Undertake Training in all aspects of work within the manufacturing and welding facility to promote and enhance the flexibility of the business.
- To contribute toward continuous improvement initiatives, relative to individual and departmental performance.
**Person Specification**:

- Must have an approachable and helpful manner when dealing with colleagues.
- Must be Passionate about delivering excellent service to the business and its clients
- Must have a can do attitude and always look to “find a way”.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:

- Experienced within a fabrication or Assembly environment
- Able to Co-ordinate Multiple tasks projects simultaneously
- Highly Organised with an aptitude for problem solving
- Able to prioritise tasks and work independently
**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience or exposure to technical drawings
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing philosophies
- Exposure to, and/or experience within Health and safety
- Exposure to working to Key Performance Indicators
