Internationalisation is a key component of DMU’s growth plans and we are now seeking an International Recruitment Officer to play a vital role in the next phase of our development.

**Role**

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for increasing the number of international students recruited from their prescribed region. Manage the sales and recruitment activity in assigned markets to address strategic objectives and meetenrolment targets, as well as contribute to the overall strategy of the region. You will achieve this by managing key external stakeholder relationships including agents, schools, academic partners and sponsors. You will have no line management responsibilitieshowever you are expected to work closely with and provide leadership to overseas staff and student ambassadors.

To be successful, you will have the proven ability to work in a fast paced sales, marketing or commercial environment and have excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. You will be able to work both in your regional team as well as contributingto the wider International Office management team and be able to manage multiple projects to meet tight deadlines. You will also have experience of working towards and achieving targets in a competitive environment. The post may involve up to 15 weeks of internationaltravel per academic cycle (dependant on government travel guidelines).
