**Paws Indoors Southend is looking for another experienced Team Leader to join our already thriving business & successful business. We need a strong leader to maintain standards & our four star standard rating plus the excellent reputation we have.**

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to help lead the team in our facility in the absence of senior managers. You will have the opportunity to share our passion and vision by building our unique experience for our pet friends and their families. As the Team Leader, you will work directly with the managers to provide smooth running of the business.

**So here is a little bit about use**:
Being the only Indoor Weatherproof Dog Centre in Essex makes us automatically stand out to clients and other businesses. We are also the only daycare in Southend and surrounding that have been given a licence by Southend Council.

We have been open since 2016/17 with our owner Lucy has over 20 years of experience working with dogs. Our team is made up of a multitude of experienced staff. We are open 7am to 18.00pm, we provide pickup & drop off.

Our teams at Paws Indoors & Little Paws Club work closely together and are proud of the work we do with Pups & junior dogs.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Supervision of staff and day-to-day operations
- Manage client relationships & client expectations
- Ensure the facility is kept in spotless clean, sanitised condition.
- Ensures our operations adhere to new or established service standards with a sufficient number of well-trained and productive employees.
- Drive our doggy vans in the absence of staff driver
- Assist the team with the overall duties of the facility

**Required Skills**:

- Experience in the pet care industry
- Excellent verbal communication skills and leadership presence
- Solution oriented approach to business and operations problems
- Genuine liking for people with a desire to make the customer experience and the employee work experience pleasant, welcoming, and memorable.
- Communicating and connecting company mission and values to daily operations

**Desired Experience and Education**:

- Excellent work history and references with a record of career progression
- Must be comfortable around dogs of all sizes
- Must be able to work flexible shifts as needed
- Supervisory and leadership experience
- Problem-solving
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Organisational and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and remain flexible with assigned duties
- Possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Access to reliable transportation
